Waxing!
To put it simply, waxing is the removal of hair, complete with the hair bulb in tact by using wax to grip the hair. There are two methods:
-
Strip wax, which is a liquid wax applied thinly and removed using a paper strip. Used for larger, flatter, less sensitive areas.
-
Hot wax/Stripless wax, which is thicker in consistency and applied with a wooden spatula, allowed to set and removed like a plaster. Perfect for face and intimate areas which are more sensitive.
Depending on the treatment, I may be using one or a combination of the two waxes.
Why get Waxed?
There are many benefits to getting Waxed!
After a few regular treatments, the hairs will begin to grow back slower, weaker and fewer of them will appear over time. Much better than prickly stubble from shaving!
Not to mention with a professional doing your treatments, it's safer than hair removal creams burning your skin. Not how you want to treat your privates!

So leave the hair removal to me!
Before your Treatment
Before you can be waxed, you will need to fill out a quick consultation form on arrival, to check if there are any reasons why the treatment can not go ahead.
If you have any medical conditions or allergies, please let me know upon booking a treatment. If you have a nut allergy or are allergic to plasters (Rosin) I will not be able to wax you!
-
Please wear loose fitting clothing on the area to be waxed to your appointment. It will be more comfortable on your way home.
-
Burnt skin can not be waxed, if you want a tan, no problem, just make sure you use sunscreen and aftersun.
-
Please turn up to your appointment on time. If you are early, i may still be in a treatment. If you're running late, I will try to accommodate, but if I have a treatment straight after your appointment, I may have to rearrange your booking.

If you are under 18, I will not be able to treat you, Please don't be offended if I ask you for ID before a treatment.
